Horehound has traditionally been used as an expectorant to thin bronchial secretions. It is used for the treatment of the respiratory tract: colds, hoarseness, bronchitis, asthma, flu. Horehound is also used in cases of decreased appetite, dyspeptic disorders, such as flatulence and a feeling of fullness. How to use: Infusion (boil for a few moments) 1 tablespoon of plant per glass of water, stand for a few minutes, strain and drink 3 cups daily, after meals. People with active peptic ulcer, gallstones or other hepatobiliary duct disorders should consult a doctor before taking it. Additional information: No allergens.
