Our maca is an Andean root and comes from organic farming in Peru. Important effects are attributed to it in increasing physical and intellectual performance, stress reduction, restorative in general, antioxidant power, in addition to balancing the endocrine system. For smoothies, add 1 or 2 tablespoons to a glass of water, juice or milk, sweeten to taste and stir. In the case of baking, add 2 tablespoons of maca flour per 3 cups (750 ml) of cereal flour, yeast and salt. In the case of a base for soups, add 2 tablespoons of maca to the usual sauce once it is golden, stir quickly and pour the water to make the broth.
