El Naturalista Cranberry Plus 60 Tablets

Cranberry Plus is a Food Supplement made up of plants (American cranberry, bearberry), DMannose and vitamins C and E.
The best-known use of American cranberry is the treatment of urinary infections. Its mechanism of action is to prevent bacterial adherence (especially Escherichia coli P-fimbriated pathogens that cause 80% of urinary infections) to the urothelial cells of the walls of the urinary tract and thus be eliminated with urine.
The EMA (European Medicines Agency) approves traditional use for the prevention and relief of symptoms of mild recurrent lower urinary tract infections (2). Bearberry leaf (Arctostaphylos uva ursi L.) mainly has arbutoside or arbutin that gives it antimicrobial properties mainly in the urinary tract (arbutoside is hydrolyzed by the bacterial flora and released as hydroquinone through the renal vial (1).
ESCOP approves traditional use for the prevention and relief of symptoms of mild lower urinary tract infections, such as cystitis, when antibiotic treatment is not considered necessary (3). D-Mannose is a simple sugar present in many plants and fruits in small quantities. Its properties in relation to cystitis seem to be due to the fact that its structure allows it to bind to the type 1 fimbriae of E. coli sensitive to mannose and prevent its adhesion to the mucosa of the urinary tract (4,5). In this way, recurrences of infections are reduced. Vitamin C contributes to the acidification of urine and thus enhances the action of cranberry since its non-stick effect is reinforced in acidic environments. Vitamin C also contributes to the normal functioning of the immune system.
Vitamins C and E contribute to the protection of cells against oxidative damage.
How to use
Adults: Take two tablets a day, preferably one in the morning and one at night accompanied by a glass of water.
