Wilco Jojoba Oil is a pure oil from the jojoba seed that provides natural skin care, providing the necessary hydration to protect it from dryness. It is a first cold pressure oil, without additives. Jojoba is a shrub of the Simmondsiaceae family belonging to the dicotyledons. The family is not recognized by all taxonomists, so it is often included in the Buxaceae family. It is a dioecious plant, since there are male plants, pollen producers, and female plants, which are the ones that produce the fruits. It is native to the Sonoran desert (between Mexico and the United States) and the Mojave desert (California, Arizona, Utah and Nevada). Jojoba is the only plant that produces liquid wax (esters), with very useful physical and chemical properties in cosmetics. Jojoba oil is extracted by pressing its seeds (nuts) and is mainly used in cosmetic products without any kind of refinement, mixed with other substances or simply alone.
